Join us for a very special two days of djembe and dunun workshops with Bolokada Conde! One of Guinea’s most premier and prolific Malinke Djembefolas and former lead soloist of Les Percussions de Guinee for over a decade, Bolakada has taught and performed for thousands of people and at the highest level. A spellbinding Grandmaster Djembefola, Conde takes pride in sharing Malinke rhythms, songs, and culture with sheer passion, patience, and remarkable zeal. Today, he teaches workshops worldwide to beginning and advanced students. We are honored to have him in Charlottesville!
